When the sun is shining this hard, the only thing to do is shine right back. Troi Ollivierre gave us the low down on how he achieves this radiant summer look.
On achieving clean, glowy skin:
I like to dab a little bit of foundation on my hand and then a little bit of moisturizer in two separate spots and then combine them. When the moisturizer and foundation are mixed (rather than layered), it sets naturally into the skin. This way, they sit together, so it looks more natural and more like skin. You also keep the glow because it’s moisture and foundation together.
On this effortless eye look:
I did a color wash, which is following the crease and staying within the eyelid. No smoke out or anything like that. Just a simple patted-in look.
She has gorgeous blue eyes and blonde hair. I thought this was a very fresh and natural look, and the brown was going to give her something without looking like her eye was too done. Sometimes when you add black to people with lighter/fairer skin, eyes, and hair, it becomes much more of a statement. We wanted this to be fresh and natural—like it was her own.
