There’s nothing I like more than a frothy top. I felt like this top deserved a gentle red lip like Fete and nude eye using IRIS in Brown, so it doesn’t overwhelm. This style lets you go without liner for a softer, barely-there look, which achieves a sense of balance and a little bit of romance. My fave hair secret is The Crown Affair Conditioner—literally a game-changer.

The sparkle top was a piece I wore to the Met Gala years ago, and I’m so happy I get to keep pulling it out. There are 30 different colors in the sequins, and I wanted a slightly dramatic eye with a nude lip to not compete with all of the sequin colors. I chose a CATE lash. It has a clean look with a hint of drama and paired that with my new favorite nude lip Ultralip in Villa. It’s absolutely the perfect nude for my skin tone.

I started with the Glossier sweatshirt. (Thanks, you guys. My last one was stolen off the back of a chair in a restaurant. Not completely surprised). Because the look is more sporty and paired down, I wanted to do the opposite with the makeup. Hence, I went for high drama with my eyes. We used the most dramatic lash, NOOR, and went with a smokey eye. My general rule with a smokey eye is to go completely sheer with the lip. So we picked Glossier Ultra Lip in Lucite, which has a super nourishing gloss finish. I tend to appreciate opposites in a look—like pairing a men’s blazer with pearls. I also like the drama of a smokey eye with a heavier pair of glasses— giving you a little bit of drama with schoolmarm. How many things can I mash-up in one look?!
