As we usher in the new year, many of us are embracing the opportunity for a fresh start and prioritizing wellness - or you might just want to eat cookies and ice-cream while hurkle-durkling. January is already gone, we’re not sure how that happened, and the next thing on the horizon is Valentine’s day.

As gifting is Jenna’s love language we thought we’d ask her for some of her wellness tips, gift ideas and small indulgences.

On a scale of 1-10, how would you rate your wellness at the end of 2023 vs now? 1 being “couch potato adjacent” and 10 being “your best Tracy Anderson self”.

I’m a steady 6.

Everyone has a different definition of wellness, what does wellness mean to you?

I used to think wellness meant a spa day but I’ve come to realize that wellness is a much more holistic approach to self-care. This can be something as simple as a lunch date with no phone, a manicure with my son, or taking extra-time with my skin care routine (any of these made better with ice-cream).

Do you have any personal wellness tips that are easily adaptable for us?

While I love a glass of chilled bubbles, I’ve found non-alcohol cocktails just as enjoyable. Phony Negronis, which I discovered at the restaurant, 5 Acres at Rockefeller Center is an all-time favorite, as are the Ghia drinks. My current favorite Ghia is “Lime and Salt”.

Using products that have quality ingredients is paramount to your overall health. I love Tata Harper products and after spending a good amount of time with her I can vouch for how much effort she’s put into high-quality ingredients. My secret hack for a slightly flushed look is to use the Tata Harper Cream Lovely Blush on my lips, cheeks and even my eyes… It’s so versatile I always keep it in my purse.

I’m also a fan of clean hair products, like Sandor’s shampoo, Conditioner and Hair Oil. I love that the ingredients are all natural and it smells incredible.

Jenna Tip: She also uses Tata Harper’s Creme Riche and Resurfacing Serum.

During covid my friends and I did Tracy Anderson over zoom and it was great for my body and to be able to socialize with friends. Now that the world has opened up I still do TA but also like to mix in things that I can do with friends IRL. Recently I’ve picked up a tennis racquet and I’m working my way to pickleball. The fact that the paddles are cute may or may not be a factor. Check out these Nettie Pickleball paddles and tell me you aren’t swayed.

One of my pet peeves is a stinky house. Part of my self-care is burning incense or candles, that make my home smell delicious. My current favorite incense burner is this unlacquered brass Populus Project incense burner. I have one in every room of my house.

As gift giving is your love language and Valentine’s day is right around the corner, do you have any gift ideas you can share with us?

Recovery Balm - for the person who is always sore

Love Socks - for your Valentine

I’m a sucker for a classic love charm necklace like this one.

I’m obsessed with the skincare from Noble Panacea. It’s a life-saver for anyone who travels.

I love chocolate. If anyone wants to gift them to me, I like Ladderach.
