ON SCARY MOVIES:
When I was 15, I did a scary movie marathon and watched Halloween, Friday the 13th, and Terror Train all in the same night. I slept with the lights on for the next three months and was completely traumatized. That was the end of that.
IN HER MAKEUP BAG:
Retrouvé Classique Intensive Replenishing Facial Moisturizer. Glossier Monochromes eyeshadow palette. My favorite one is Heather.
BIGGEST IRRATIONAL FEAR:
Drains. A swimming pool, jacuzzi, any body of water with a drain. No, thank you.

Tata Harper. I love their Oil Cleanser, Exfoliating Cleanser, Elixir Vitae Eye Serum, and the Crème Riche.
ON SUPERSTITIONS:
I don’t like to talk about something until it’s real. And I don’t open umbrellas in my house.
WHAT DID YOU DO DURING THE INSTAGRAM OUTAGE OF 2021?
I spent the first 10 minutes refreshing over and over again, thinking, “was it just my internet?” Then, believe it or not, I put my phone down and did some work, came back, and much to my dismay, Instagram was catatonic. Then I started reaching out to the rest of the world and realized I was not alone. It was actually pretty amazing.
THE BEST HALLOWEEN CANDY:
Butterfingers.
AND THE WORST:
Raisins.
UNLACQUERED BRASS ALERT:
Inside East, a Moroccan faucet company makes unlacquered brass faucets for great prices. (Editor’s note: We all know how much Jenna loves unlacquered brass.)
ON HER FAVORITE HALLOWEEN COSTUME:
In college, I made the most enormous dinosaur costume out of green fur and purple sparkle horns. It was a massive undertaking, bigger than a Met Gala gown, hot as Hades, and smelled to high heaven by the end of the night, but everyone loved it. Every year after that, my mother wore it to her Halloween concert with her piano students. So, cheers to that.
RECENT PRODUCT DISCOVERY:
Mary’s Alpaca Poop Fertilizer. It comes in these dishwasher pods, and you mix them with water. It’s like giving your house plants Gatorade and is completely natural, which is great.
OKAY, HAVE YOU WATCHED SQUID GAME OR NOT?:
Yes. It’s literally like watching a car wreck. I don’t really want to see, but I can’t take my eyes off of it.
LASH OF THE MONTH:
JACK in Brown/Black, of course. Halloween is the time for a strong lash moment.
LASTLY, PICK A STATEMENT LIP:
Oh my god, I’ve always loved Herman. I have such a soft spot for Herman Munster.
